This site is run by Olesia Shelkovenko, an artist and photographer based in Porto, Portugal. For anything concerning your data, write to [email protected] — I answer personally.
The site is static: there are no accounts, no logins and no comments. I collect no names, addresses or phone numbers through forms, because there are no forms here.
What happens without your consent
Nothing beyond showing you the pages. Analytics is switched off on load: Google Analytics runs in a mode where storing analytics cookies is denied by default.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare technically sees your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the page — the page cannot reach you otherwise. This is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in operating the site securely, and I do not use it to track you.
Fonts and styling are served from this same domain, so simply browsing the site does not make your browser contact third-party font or advertising servers.
What happens if you press “Accept”
Google Analytics 4 is enabled and shows me aggregate statistics: which pages are read, which countries visitors come from, phone or desktop. It does not tell me who you are.
The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
The processor is Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred outside the EU, for which Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Advertising features and sharing data with Google's advertising products are disabled on this site.
Which cookies are actually used
_ga — distinguishes browsers so visitors can be counted, stored for 2 years.
_ga_7ZF77LBPXG — keeps the session state for this particular property, 2 years.
osa_consent — not a cookie but an entry in your browser's local storage: it remembers your answer to the banner so you are not asked on every page. It stays until you clear site data or withdraw consent, and it is never sent anywhere.
If you choose “Only essential”, the first two are never created at all.
Buying a painting
Payment happens on Stripe's side: you leave this site for a secure page hosted by Stripe Payments Europe. Card details are entered there and never reach me — I neither see nor store them.
To fulfil an order I receive your name, e-mail and delivery address from Stripe. I use them only to send the work and to keep my books, and retain them for as long as Portuguese tax law requires.

Your rights
You may ask what data I hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, and receive a copy of it.
Consent to analytics can be withdrawn at any time and without any disadvantage, using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Analytics stops immediately.
If you believe I am handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority — Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, cnpd.pt — or to the equivalent authority in your own country.
