About this work
At the centre of this work is the image of an old tree as a symbol of memory, endurance and inner refuge. Its trunk keeps the marks of time, wind and rain, and the space inside the tree becomes a metaphor for silence and safety.
The painting is about a state in which a person can pause for a while, step out of the external rhythm and come back to themselves. Here there is no need to be stronger, faster or more visible — it is enough to be present in the moment and to feel an inner balance.
“Keeper of Silence” is a work about a personal space of calm, about the connection with nature, and about that quiet place inside us where we can recover and feel supported again.
