About this work
Some things shine, while others glow from within. This work is about the treasures we keep in our hearts: small symbols, memories and feelings that become especially precious over time.
The magpies are guardians, gathering everything important into a heart-shaped nest. Every pendant and stone holds someone's story. This painting is about memory — and love. Oil on canvas, 100×80 cm, 2026. Signed original.
Eight works painted over the years of emigration — from Russia to Estonia, and then to Portugal (2022–2026). Recurring images of birds, nests and a cocoon, warm light on deep blue, and fine unbroken threads. The shared thought: home is not walls or borders, but what you carry inside.
